Diet: The Rough Raw Reality

A dog living to 20 years old is hard to come by nowadays. However, through simple logic and a look back at diet it is easy to see how to optimally benefit us and our dogs overall health, together. Our dogs wild carnivoren brethren would be, on a daily basis, hunting down large ungulates that graze and eat hundreds of pounds of vegetative matter a day.

As our human ancestors evolved, we did much of the same...banding together and hunting down these huge walking filet mignons that eat, fart and poop literally ALL day. Whats important to us and our fellow dogs however, is that inside all of that meat, all that bone and muscle we have taken down and fed on for hundreds of thousands of years is vegetables, fruit, and roughage. This roughage alone builds the brawn of bison, the gargantuan girth of gorillas, raw power of rhinos and the earthquakes of enormous elephants.

Plants...are... powerful. Their high level of antioxidants reduces chronic disease and slows down the rate of aging. It is also amazingly potent at promoting growth, strength, intestinal health and bulking up the body with fiber. It is not a mistake that nature grows all of these things to feed us, for free. It is quite interesting to note that after a kill, the alphas of a wolfpack will typically commence feeding by consuming the larger internal organs of their prey, such as the heart, liver, lungs and stomach lining (where all the plants are) first.

The kidneys and spleen are eaten once they are exposed, followed by the muscles, than bones. A dog in Great Britain Lived to almost 30 on a natural meat/plant diet. Sadly, all of the meat WE eat is fed corn and slaughtered like crap; in our dogs case, isn't real meat at all. By simply supplementing natural raw ingredients to kibble; aiding in what has now become a time consuming hassle, to prepare food or take time to eat real stuff; your pup and you can be stronger inside and out.

Kick the early cancers, the seizures, the hip and ear issues, skin and "psycho-behavioral" conditions. Stop feeling the compulsion to check in with doctors, veterinarians and pill poppin pill prescribing prissys.
